This is the second year in a row that we have served mares in a Blizzard! Rockley turned on the weather - as it did in most of the South East of Australia - on the 16th of October. Thankfully our efforts were not in vain as Glacial Gold’s covering that day of our Royal Show Champion mare On The Map (aka Prada) was successful. We are pleased to add that Glacial Gold’s first three Thoroughbred mares were also preg tested, and all tested in foal. Pictured Right is actually Glacial Gold in the Blizzard! It would seem Hail To Reason sire line horses are as hot a Danehills. Americain is a third generation Hail To Reason sire line horse. Golden Slipper winners Sebring and Phelan Ready are both fourth generation Hail To Reason sire line horses. Another fourth generation Hail To Reason sire line horse that comes to mind is Profile In Style (USA). His 2010 true black son ‘Styled In Black’ has a 5 x 5 duplication of Hail To Reason.
